How do I create a gift list?
Sign in and click 'Create List' in the navigation bar. Choose between a gift guide (recommendations), gift planner (for an occasion), or wishlist (personal). Add a title, description, and start adding gifts!
What's the difference between the list types?
Gift Guides are curated recommendations you share publicly. Gift Planners are for collaborative planning (like birthdays). Wishlists are personal lists of things you want.
How does collaboration work?
Add friends as collaborators on any list. They can add gifts, leave comments, claim items they'll buy, and track status—all in real-time.
Can I keep a list secret from someone?
Absolutely! When creating a gift planner, you can exclude the recipient so they never see it. Perfect for surprise parties and special occasions.
What are the privacy options?
Lists can be Public (anyone can see), Friends-only (only your friends), or Private (only you). You control who sees what.
How do I claim a gift?
Click the 'I'll Buy This' button on any gift in a list you're collaborating on. This lets everyone know you've got it covered and prevents duplicate purchases.
Can I track my budget?
Yes! Set a budget when creating a list, and the coordination dashboard will track your spending as you mark gifts as purchased.
How do comments work?
Click the comment button on any gift to start a discussion. Ask questions, get opinions, or coordinate splitting costs—all right on the gift card.
Can I install Giftimonial as an app?
Yes! On mobile, tap 'Add to Home Screen' in Safari (iOS) or follow the install prompt in Chrome (Android). On desktop, click the install button in Chrome.
Does it work offline?
The app caches pages you've visited, so you can browse lists offline. New changes require an internet connection.
How do affiliate links work?
